American College of Sports Medicine Annual Conference – A Forum for Discussion of Scientific and Practical Applications for CarnoSyn Beta-alanineJune 1 - 4, 2016 BOSTON, MA
The CarnoSyn® team recently attended the annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in Boston, MA. This year was the 63rd annual conference, the 7th World Congress on Exercise is Medicine® and the World Congress on the Basic Science of Energy Balance. Over 6,000 sports medicine and exercise science professionals convened in Boston for the most comprehensive sports medicine and exercise science meeting in the world.
The ACSM conference provided opportunities to network directly with a number of scientists and clinicians from across the globe who have conducted research on behalf of CarnoSyn® beta-alanine. It was a rewarding experience to hear first-hand about their studies and discuss how ongoing research continues to validate and strengthen the science behind the ingredient. The CarnoSyn® team had many opportunities to help educate conference attendees about the science supporting beta-alanine supplementation, which ultimately leads to increased muscle buffering capacity and results in greater physical working capacity, enhanced muscle endurance and delayed muscle fatigue.
The field of sports medicine is evolving, accelerated by emerging technologies and changing health care policies. ACSM is the largest sports medicine and exercise science organization in the world. With more than 50,000 members and certified professionals worldwide, ACSM is dedicated to advancing and integrating scientific research to provide educational and practical applications of exercise science and sports medicine. The organization also provides a well-rounded collection of credible and reliable information on physical activity and exercise.
If you happen to be involved in the health and wellness category, you should consider attending next year’s American College of Sports Medicine annual meeting in Denver. Team CarnoSyn® will see you there!
